Safety First : Park your vehicle on a flat surface away from traffic. Turn on hazard lights and engage the parking brake. Retrieve your spare tire, jack, and lug wrench from your vehicle’s trunk.

Loosen Lug Nuts : Use the lug wrench to loosen the lug nuts on the flat tire. Do not remove them completely, just loosen them enough to make removal easier once the vehicle is jacked up.

Jack Up the Vehicle : Position the jack under the frame near the flat tire. Follow the instructions in your vehicle’s manual for proper placement. Begin raising the vehicle until the flat tire is off the ground.

Remove the Flat Tire : Once the vehicle is lifted, completely remove the loosened lug nuts and take off the flat tire. Place it aside carefully.

Install Spare Tire : Align the holes in the spare tire with the wheel studs. Push the spare tire onto the wheelbase until it fits snugly. Then, hand tighten the lug nuts. Lower the vehicle with the jack and finish tightening the lug nuts with the wrench in a star pattern to ensure even pressure.
